Our team have the knowledge and skills to safely assess an individual then design corrective exercise programs that will assist in rehabilitating from injury or surgery and alleviate symptoms from common musculoskeletal imbalances. We provide individualised exercise programs for chronic medical conditions that take into account the patient’s specific unique characteristics and background, postural and movement habits. Those individuals and groups looking for improved sports performance also will receive targeted sport-specific high performance training.

We encourage high performance training to take elite athletes to the next level of training. South Coast Sports Medicine professionals work together with the athlete’s needs in mind.
Our team at South Coast Sports Medicine is trained in musculoskeletal screening, posture assessment, biomechanics and pre-exercise screening. In addition we can conduct bench marking tests for those interested in improving their athletic performance. We provide expert assessment, efficient referral for tests, accurate diagnosis and an evidence-based multidisciplinary treatment plan. Our Sports Doctors, Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists will work closely to examine the way your upper and lower limbs work,
One of our main goals at South Coast Sports Medicine is to give clients the skills to become independent in using exercise to manage their conditions. To this end, we encourage home exercise programs or self-monitored exercise programmes because, after all, a consistent exercise habit is the key to success. Once a person is given a series of individualised exercises to perform it is critical that they are done correctly.
