David has a Masters of Physiotherapy from Curtin University. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sports Science, from Edith Cowen University. This provides Dave with a strong skill set and ability to take patients through rehab from both the initial diagnosis and treatment of injuries, as well as through later stage strength and conditioning, in order to reach their goals or improve athletic performance.
He has private practice experience in Perth, previously in Albany, and also more recently has returned from working in an elite sports setting in Melbourne. There he gained great experience working alongside Olympic, AIS and Australian Athletics team physios and athletes.
David has a strong interest in managing sporting injuries with a focus on not only returning players to the field but returning to the field at a high level of performance. Dave has almost 10 years of experience in also managing our everyday recreational athletes, weekend warriors, workers and families who might be aiming to move better, stronger and pain free.
He has particular interest in injuries of the lower limb including hip, groin and knee injuries; muscle strains and bone injuries; as well as injuries of the shoulder.
Outside of work Dave has been known to pull on the footy boots in the Great Southern. However currently he mostly enjoys surfing and spending time with his young family at our amazing great southern beaches.
