High Performance

We encourage high performance training to take elite athletes to the next level of training.

South Coast Sports Medicine professionals work together with the athlete’s needs in mind to develop training programs to improve the functional capacity for the athlete. High performance programs target both aerobic conditioning as well as strength, power and endurance.

A high performance program needs to target both athletic performance and injury prevention. The team at South Coast Sports Medicine are highly-trained professionals with the relevant skills to assess,  identify and improve areas of weakness which may lead to future injury. 

Following an initial movement screening and assessment, the athlete will have a progressive exercise program implemented with the goal to further develop their technique and performance. This will ensure they have the physical capacity to both tolerate the necessary training load but also are ready to perform at the highest competitive level.

This incredibly important value-add training is a great way to take performance to the next level as either a stand-alone program or supplementary to your existing sport-specific training plans
